 Consuelo Townsend, affectionately known as Grandma Consuelo within the Side by Side family, brings a wealth of wisdom and compassion to her role. A beloved mother of five, her nurturing spirit extends beyond her immediate family to embrace grandchildren and great-grandchildren as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore. With a lifetime of experiences and a heart overflowing with love, Consuelo's journey reflects a deep commitment to serving others. From her early days as a young mother to her current role as a beloved grandmother, Consuelo's warmth and kindness create a sense of home and belonging for all who cross her path, embodying the true essence of family and community. 

 Nick Sanz, the firstborn of Side by Side's founder Sundy Rothery, possesses a unique ability to bring light and brightness to any room he enters. A devoted pet lover and proud 'puppy and kitty dad,' Nick's nurturing nature extends beyond his furry companions to his dedication to serving others. With a childhood steeped in the arts, Nick honed his talents as an actor however eventually transitioned to a fulfilling career as an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician. Despite his professional success, Nick remains committed to his roots, actively giving back to individuals with developmental disabilities. Inspired by his upbringing alongside an uncle with Down syndrome, Nick possesses a deep understanding and fondness for those in need, embodying Side by Side's mission of compassion and support. 

Shaun Sales, the youngest child of Side by Side's founder Sundy Rothery, is a multifaceted individual with a passion for bringing joy and laughter to others. As a stand-up comic and talented singer, Shaun's vibrant personality shines through in every performance. Recently certified as a mixologist, he delights in crafting unique and memorable experiences for those around him.

Shaun's journey in the service industry is deeply rooted in his personal experiences, having grown up alongside an uncle with Down syndrome. This upbringing instilled in him a profound empathy and understanding, fueling his dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

In addition to his creative pursuits, Shaun is also studying to pursue a career in real estate, further expanding his ability to connect with and support individuals from all walks of life. With his infectious energy and unwavering commitment to serving others, Shaun embodies the spirit of compassion and inclusivity that defines Side by Side Supported Living Services.

Peggy, a proud native of San Francisco, embarked on a diverse career path before returning to her roots in healthcare. With a background in business and a decade of service in the healthcare sector, Peggy's passion lies in nurturing family bonds and fostering community connections. A new grandmother and enthusiast of Pokémon Go and music, Peggy brings joy and enthusiasm to her work with Side by Side, embodying a spirit of compassion and empathy in all her endeavors. 

Andrea, a native of Santa Rosa, finds solace in pursuing non-fiction literature, indulging in culinary adventures, and exploring new locales. Working alongside Side by Side, she broadens her horizons by supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, aiding them in reaching their full potential. Through this endeavor, she not only fosters meaningful connections but also expands her understanding of diverse perspectives. 

Anthony Graves, the nephew of Side by Side's founder Sundy Rothery, is a dynamic individual whose journey reflects a passion for both sports and service. Throughout high school, Anthony garnered acclaim as the best baseball player in his area, harboring dreams of playing professionally one day. While his athletic pursuits have taken a back seat, Anthony has embraced new experiences, including working at a winery and contemplating a future in farming.

Inspired by his uncle's journey with Down syndrome, Anthony possesses a deep understanding and empathy for individuals with developmental disabilities. This personal connection fuels his desire to make a positive impact in their lives.

Hailing from California, Flecia's journey has taken her from San Jose to various states before returning home following a life-altering car accident. Nicknamed the "Bionic Woman" due to the metal implants in her shoulder and leg, she embodies resilience and empathy. Inspired by the care she received from her family during her recovery, Flecia now pays it forward by providing compassionate support to others. Her passion lies in nurturing and assisting individuals, a testament to her unwavering dedication to making a positive difference in people's lives.
